True Confession: I love Irish Literature
No Strangers Here by Carlene O'Connor

When I saw that this was a Barnes and Noble monthly pick, I grabbed it. I love books set in Ireland, and I love mysteries. This story didn't disappoint.
Dimpna got a call that her father had dementia and a wealthy neighbor had been murdered in her hometown of Dingle. She hasn't been there for 27 years due to a horrible event in her past, but now she must return and help her family because they are suspected of being complicit in the murder.
This book hit a sweet spot for me. The delightful atmosphere of Dingle, the mystery, which blended procedural and amateur detection, and a strong female character. I really enjoyed it.
